## What should you know before using a notification?

### Does this send a letter or close an account?

No. It prepares a notification for you to review, copy or print. Follow the official company process. An online form or phone route may require its own steps.

### Does selecting executor prove my authority?

No. It records the role you selected. Choose executor only if you hold that role and have court papers. Companies check their own requirements. Talk with a lawyer in your state about legal authority.

### Should I add an account number here?

No. Add an account reference by hand on your private printed copy. Keep account details and identity documents for the company's official process. Never enter a password or passcode in this tool.

### What goes into a copied link?

Only company choices. Names, role, date and notification text stay out of the link and CSV tracker. The Clear personal details button clears them. They also clear when this page reloads or leaves.

### When should I return?

Return when a company replies or requests more information. Record sent dates and replies on your private tracker. A blank row does not mean a notification was sent.

## How does this tool work?
- **What it does**

Prepare a separate death notification for each company. Follow quoted official routes, copy or print your drafts and use a blank tracker. Nothing is sent.

- **How it decides**

Choose companies and optionally add the two names, your actual role and the date. The tool prepares one notification per company. Blank fields become handwriting lines. It never sends a notification or verifies authority. The tracker leaves sent dates and replies blank.

- **Your answers**

Names, role, date and letters stay on this page. They are cleared on reload or leaving. Copied links contain only company choices. The CSV tracker contains companies and official routes, with blank sent dates and replies. Anonymous counts include no answers. Nothing is sent to a company.

- **What it is based on**

The company reference quotes each official route and preserves its limits. Read the linked instructions before sharing private documents. We recheck company routes every quarter. We recheck each official source at least once a year and update this page when one changes.

- **What it doesn't do**

These notifications are not legal documents or company forms. They do not establish authority, close an account or request private content. Company requirements still apply. Ask a lawyer in your state about legal authority. It covers the United States. This is general information, not legal, medical or financial advice.
