Review your digital legacy plan
What should you know before using this list?
Can this planner open a phone or change an account?
No. It makes a reference list. Open the official service yourself to review its settings. The planner cannot sign in, open a locked phone or change an account.
Does every service have a legacy contact?
The routes differ. Legacy contacts, inactivity plans, memorialization, data requests and closure have different effects. Read each company's conditions. Not published marks an unverified field.
What do No and Not sure mean?
Both point you to a guide for review. Yes records only your own answer and does not verify a setting or authority. Choose Not used when a question does not apply.
Do you need my passcode or account details?
No. Enter no passcode, password, recovery code or account number. Only service choices and phone-check answers enter a copied link. Anyone with that link can see those choices.
Can I print or revisit my list?
Yes. Select services, then print or download the CSV. Revisit after a device, provider or family change. The calendar download sets a voluntary review.
How does this tool work?
- 1What it does
Compare official company settings, family access limits, after-death routes and requested documents. Review your phone plan and save a private reference.
- 2How it decides
Select services to filter the table. Nothing selected leaves every company visible. Phone answers are self-reported. No and Not sure show a guide to review. Yes does not verify access. Not used records your choice.
- 3Your answers
Choices stay in your browser. Anonymous counts contain no answers. Copied links include services and phone answers in their fragment. Anyone with a link can see those choices.
- 4What it is based on
It uses the official company sources in the reference. Each field names its source. Read full conditions for access, closure and memorialization. We recheck changing company instructions every quarter. We recheck each official source at least once a year and update this page when one changes.
- 5What it doesn't do
This reference cannot sign in, change accounts or establish legal authority. Companies decide requests. Talk with a lawyer in your state about legal authority. Calendar items are voluntary source reviews. It covers the United States. This is general information, not legal, medical or financial advice.
